Broad Oak Farm Bed and Breakfast offers you a traditional country welcome.

 

Enjoy a typical country-style breakfast then head off to discover one of the oldest areas of unenclosed pasture, heath and forest in the country. The New Forest is mentioned in the Domesday book.  You’ll see the famous New Forest ponies wandering casually over roads and pasture. If you are lucky you’ll spot the New Forest’s other famous residents, the shy Red Deer. Bird life abounds, and don’t be surprised if you see the odd woodpecker, curlew or pheasant.

 

A short walk  away from our Bed and Breakfast is the charming New Forest village of  Minstead.  Here you can see the typical thatched cottages of the New Forest, the village green, often teeming with people and ponies from Spring to Autumn.  Minstead church houses the tomb of one of the forest’s most famous residents, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle

 

Also close to our Bed and Breakfast is Furzey Gardens, which offers pleasant strolls through the gardens themselves, a lake, a gallery and coffee shop.
